Jonas Pictures

 We had Jonas' pictures taken right before Christmas by LuAnn Hunt, a photographer who goes to church with us.  They turned out beautifully.  These are a few of the Christmas shots.

The Last Two Months

  So my sweet baby boy is 2 months old today!  I can hardly believe it.  These last two months have flown by!  I am still on maternity leave from work, and enjoying every minute with my little guy.  I will be back to work on January 21, which sounds far away-but I'm sure will be here in the blink of an eye.

  He was born on November 5-10 days after his due date-and his Daddy's birthday.  My water finally broke on Wednesday the 3rd (at 3:33am) and after many hours of petocin he was finally born on Friday the 5th at 10:48am via C-section.  He was healthy through the entire labor (it was long, but not terrible) and weighed 8lbs 5oz and was 21.4in long.  I cried relieved tears of joy when I heard his first cry.  I, of course, think he is the most beautiful baby ever! 

  I recovered well from my c-section and have been enjoying my time with my sweet little guy.  Bob is great with him and helps so much-I don't even have to ask him to change diapers.  Next week I am planning a trip to Maryland-just Jonas and me.  My sister is scheduled to have a c-section on January 12.  I can't wait to meet my new little nephew!
